Basic Answers to Inquiries
1. Our school begins with grade one and continues through grade eight (there are no pre-school or kindergarten classes). Grades 1 and 2 are half-day sessions. Third Grade is a transitional year with students attending M-W-F from 8:30 AM – 12:30 p.m. and Tue.,Thurs. 8:30AM – 2:30 p.m. No after school care offered.

2. Since Crossroads is a Covenant School, we require both parents to be born-again believers in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. They should also be members in good standing of an evangelical, Bible believing Church.

3. All parents of applicants are REQUIRED to listen to the school philosophy audio CD and to read the book For The Children’s Sake (by Susan Schaefer Macauley) BEFORE submitting an application.

4. Applications for fall admission can be accepted as early as January. We encourage early application because the application process (including receipt of application, recommendations and transcripts, followed by testing, interview and application decision by the Admissions Committee) may take four to six weeks.

5. Students will be scheduled for grade-readiness testing after the application has been received if there is space available in that grade. After successfully passing the test, the admissions committee will schedule an interview with the parents.

6. The school reserves the right to deny admissions to a child if his ability, behavior or emotional development indicates that he could not be best served by our school.

7. Age considerations for first grade require that a child be six years old by September 1.
